The Mount Vernon Cross Country Team hosted an invitational on Tuesday, Aug. 21. Both the boys and girls teams placed second in the meet to Dubuque Hempstead. Pictured are three of the top finishers for the Mount Vernon Boys: Thomas Bernard, Nate Marti, and Austin Springsteen. The next meet will be Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 5 p.m. where the boys and girls will both compete in Tipton.
