The Mount Vernon Archery Club hosted a tournament Saturday and the high school team placed 3rd with a score of 2,924 and 60 bulls-eyes. The top high school shooters for Mount Vernon boys was Nick Bowen, 261 with 10 bulls-eyes and for girls, Cheyenne Yerkes, 254 with 5 bulls-eyes. The team travels to Alburnett this weekend.
