The Science Olympiad team placed first at the State Competition on Saturday, March 25 at Coe College. The team came in first to Ames, who has won state the past 23 years.”The win was special because it showed us that anything is possible. It also brought the team closer together,” said freshmen Lexi Flockhart. The Mustangs advance to Nationals where they will compete in Dayton, Ohio, from May 19-20.
