Chalk the Walk is an annual event held in uptown Mount Vernon. Artists from around the area have a sponsored where they make artwork out of chalk. This year’s featured artist was Maggie Lynott, a freshman at MVHS. This is the tenth anniversary for Chalk the Walk. Every year there is a community square where kids and adults can contribute to a section of the piece.
