The Mustangs, ranked second, won their first state game against Benton, 53-38, in the Class 3A quarterfinals at Wells Fargo Arena. They will advance to semi-finals against sixth-ranked DeWitt Central, at 7:45 Thursday night. A charter bus will be available for the girls semi-final basketball game in Des Moines on Thursday, March 3 at 7:45 pm. The bus will load at 4:15 pm and depart at 4:45 pm from the High School parking lot. Cost is $30, which includes the admission ticket. You must sign up at the high school by 3:30 TODAY (Wednesday) if you are planning to ride the charter bus.
