Mustangs Win Regional Finals!

The Mount Vernon Mustangs made an incredible comeback in the 3A regional finals Feb. 21 held at Linn-Mar High School. With first quarter split at 21-6 with Center Point-Urbana leading, and 36-20 at half, the Mustangs didn’t get ahead until the fourth quarter. The final score was 55-48.

Mount Vernon plays an undefeated Mediapolis at state quarterfinals. The game is 11:45 on Tuesday, March 3, at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
