Josh Cannon (220) won by injury defense 4:34 over Kendrick Suntken, Hampton Dumont
Trey Ryan (170) wins 4-2 over Jake Sherman from Saydel.

170- Trey Ryan (170) WBF over Dusty Swindler of Clarinda in the 1st period.
220- Josh Cannon (220) WBF over Anthony Clayton of Grinnell 2nd period.
138- Ryan Muller (138) LBD to Grant Sherman of Saydel, 7-6. Ryan Muller lbf to Christian Fox (Osage) in 2nd period.
Mount Vernon placed second at the class 2A districts in Marion Feb. 15. Union Community won the title with 118 points, and Solon came in third.
Mount Vernon will send three wrestlers to state: Trey Ryan (170), Ryan Muller (138) and Josh Cannon (220).
