The Mount Vernon large group speech team competed at Districts in Monticello on Saturday, Jan. 25, earning 8 division one ratings and two division two ratings. Events earning one ratings will advance to State competition at Linn-Mar on Feb. 8. The team is coached by Mary Sullivan, Tawnua Tenley, and Amy White.
