The Mustangs beat the Sheldon Orabs in three sets Tuesday night at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids 25-17, 25-16, and 25-21. The 3A semifinal match is at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. Tickets will be sold starting at 7:45 a.m. in the Mount Vernon High School entrance or during the day in the high school office for $8 each. The Mustangs will face the Lady Knights of Kuemper Catholic High School in Carroll, Iowa. The theme for the student section is neon colored attire.
