Mount Vernon beat No. 2 ranked Davenport Assumption at state quarterfinals yesterday at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. The set scores were 25-22, 20-25, 25-22, and 25-17. Today at 3:30, the Mustangs take on No. 3 MOC-Floyd Valley (31-8).
