The Centaur Places 3rd in State Contest

The 2010-2011 Centaur placed third in the small school division of the 2011 Iowa High School Press Association Fall Yearbook Contest behind first place Hudson and second place North Mahaska. Lisbon received an honorable mention. In addition to the award for the book, the staff won numerous individual awards as well for their work in copy writing, design, and photography
