The Mount Vernon and Maquoketa teams co-hosted an Double Invitational Trap Shoot at Dewitt’s Clinton County Sportsmen’s Club on Saturday, April 2nd. About 90 shooters and 10 school squads attended. Area schools included Solon, North Scott, North Mahaska, Davenport West, and Iowa City West.
In the morning shoot the top 3 squads were Iowa City West (210), Maquoketa (194) and Davenport West (184). Mount Vernon was 6th (173).
