The Mount Vernon Archery Club attended the Anamosa NASP Shoot on
Saturday. Eighteen Mount Vernon archers from the club received
individual honors. The seven from the high school who placed are:
9th grade girls: 1st Place Kari Tanberg
9th grade boys: 2nd Place Everett T.
10th grade girls: 1st Place Cheyenne Yerkes, 2nd Place Sam Smith, 3rd
Place Whitney Woods
10th grade boys: 2nd Place Joe Godfrey, 3rd Place Keanan Shannon
Mount Vernon will compete in Louisville, Kentucky on May 11th for the
National NASP Archery Championships.
