Although the lights went out for a brief period, the graduation ceremony otherwise went off without a hitch. Student speakers were Janelle Knight, who included all the members of her class in her speech, and Christian Mlynarczyk, who filled his obligation of cracking up the audience. Faculty speaker was math and science teacher Richard Scearce, who told the “derivative” of each student and invited Forrest Scott to join him on stage and do the robot dance. Diplomas were given out by Principal Steve Brand, Superintendent Pam Ewell, and School Board President Tom Weiseler.
