Band students earned a total of six I ratings and four II ratings at the IHSMA State Solo-Ensemble Contest at Solon High School Saturday, March 26.

The band students earned a total of six level I (outstanding) ratings, four level II (excellent) ratings and one level III (good) rating at the IHSMA State Solo-Ensemble Contest at Solon High School Saturday, March 26. Polly Carrico earned a perfect score for her flute solo.
The vocalists scored 24 I ratings and nine II ratings, and the madrigal received the Outstanding Performance Award for Center 2. This group will go on to perform at the Outstanding Performers Showcase in Ames on Tuesday, May 10.
The orchestra students also performed in four events, one student earned a level I, and three earned level II ratings.

Orchestra students scored one I and three II's at contest Saturday.
