The Solon cross country course was a great course to run a season best and it proved to be true as mutable runners had personal bests, one of them was Cade Happel (Lisbon), he ran a 19:26. After the race Happel reflected and said, ¨I got about halfway through the race and had more in the tank so I gutted the last mile out and it ended up getting me a PR.¨ Another athlete to get a personal best was Happel’s brother (Kyler Happel) also from Lisbon, he finished second with a 18:20 at the Solon invite and was part of MVL´s victory. When the meet came to an end the JV boys won with an impressive 15 points, this race has set high hopes for future meets and the team and supporters are excited to see what the team can do as the season comes to an end.
