On Tuesday, 32 juniors and 2 seniors were inducted into the Mount Vernon National Honor Society. The ceremony was capped off with Principal Steve Brand speaking about the accomplishments of the inductees, and how they represent the “Four Pillars of Mustang Nation.”
In order to be inducted the students had to maintain a 3.5 GPA, complete 35 hours of community service, as well as exemplify good character, hard work, and outstanding leadership.
The students were presented with a certificate and a pin, and were greeted by last year’s inductees after completing the ceremony.
