Senior Klayten Perreault gets his hand raised after his 7-1 championship win at the state wrestling tournament on Feb. 17. Perreault finished his senior season 46-0, his name being the most recent addition to the list of undefeated Mount Vernon wrestlers.

Krob, who usually wrestles at 106, wrestled at 113 to win by fall over Peter Nguyen. Krob's pin gave the team their first 6 points in their 34-31 win over Assumption. Mount Vernon will advance as a team to compete in Class 2A State Duals on Feb. 8 at Xtream Arena in Coralville.
