Yesterday, Mount Vernon won the State Class 3A Quarterfinal against Unity Christian 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-15).
Today, Mount Vernon (35-5) will play Assumption (30-7) in the State Class 3A Semifinal at the Coralville Xtream Arena. This game will determine if the team plays in the state championship tomorrow.
