Mount Vernon Takes State at Coralville

Tuesday, Mount Vernon won the 3A Region 6 Championship against Vinton-Shellsburg 3-0 (25-17, 25-10, 25-18).
This Tuesday, Mount Vernon (34-5) will play Unity Christian (23-9) in the State Class 3A Quarterfinal at the Coralville Xtream Arena. This game will determine if the team plays Wednesday in the state tournament.
