Mount Vernon Headed to Last Stop Before State

Wednesday, Mount Vernon won the 3A Region 6 Semifinal against Benton 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-9).
This Tuesday night, Mount Vernon (33-5) plays Vinton-Shellsburg (28-13) in the 3A Region 6 Championship at 7 p.m. at home. This game will determine if the team plays in the state tournament next week.
Volleyball spectators will need to purchase a ticket online – no cash will be accepted at the door. QR codes are at the gate if you need to purchase online with your phones there.
