Mount Vernon named All-Iowa News Team Finalist, 40 Students Win Individual Honors

Forty Mount Vernon High School students won awards in the Iowa High School Press Association Spring Journalism Contest. Mount Vernon was also named a Class A All-Iowa News Team of the Year Finalist based on its strong showing in the competition. The spring competition drew 1197 entries reviewed by 29 judges.
