Black Panther is a 2018 film directed by Ryan Coogler. It’s about T’Challa, who is the king of a country in Africa called Wakanda that is technologically advanced, having access to a powerful metal called vibranium.
The film got very good reviews, and the students at Mount Vernon High School who have seen the film, have said very good things about it. Junior Noah White said “The movie was very awesome! There were a lot of action and the characters were very cool. My favorite character was probably T’Challa because he does what is right for Wakanda and the villain was pretty cool too.”
Junior Morgan Houghtaling said “Black Panther was very well done with acting and the sets were amazing; but there were a few lines in the movie that made me cringe.”
The movie is playing in theaters now and is rated PG-13.
