Boys and Girls Both Beat Rival Solon

It was a lucky Friday the 13th for Mount Vernon basketball, coming away with wins home and away. The boys’ team  60-40 in Solon, while the girls won the game 56-28 at home. Both teams face Western Dubuque Epworth on Tuesday, with the boys at home and girls away. Paige Zaruba captured the girls’s game in a photo story:
